Mr. Arata Fujiwara, CEO of MOONSHOT Inc., the company behind KUON, recently brought three members of the Sashiko Gals to LOOPWHEELER. I had been hoping to meet them for some time, so I was truly delighted.
The Otsuchi Sashiko Project, launched 14 years ago as a recovery initiative after the Great East Japan Earthquake, has now entered its next phase. With the cooperation of Mr. Fujiwara, the “Sashiko Gals” project began last year—not only to symbolize recovery, but also to energize the world.
By coincidence, Mr. Fujiwara is also my junior from the university. We are now working on ideas for a possible collaboration between LOOPWHEELER and KUON.
There are currently about 15 members in the Sashiko Gals. I’d love to see them wearing LOOPWHEELER and smiling. Hopefully, by early next year, we’ll be able to share something with everyone. Please look forward to it.
