LW09 New Color

Since launching LOOPWHEELER in 1999, it’s been 26 years. For all this time, I’ve carried one unwavering conviction: to pass TSURIAMIKI on to the next generation, to preserve them, and to let as many people as possible experience the comfort of fabrics knitted on TSURIAMIKI. I’ve continued with the singular belief that the flame of TSURIAMI must never be extinguished. Thanks to all of you, its existence is now widely known, and word is spreading among sweatshirt lovers all over the world. In a way, I feel that LOOPWHEELER’s original goal has been achieved. Of course, I’m fully aware there’s still more to do, but compared to 1999, the reach has grown immensely. As I mentioned last year, our next destination, our goal, our mission, is to make LOOPWHEELER a 100-year brand. To do this, we must solve many challenges and continue moving forward with ambition, navigating the dramatic changes of our time. And we can’t do it without your continued support. Thank you, as always, for being with us!

The LW09 is a zip hoodie, but it has no side seams. The tubular TSURIAMI Loopback is cut down the center and a zipper sewn in to create the hoodie. Cutting tubular TSURIAMI Loopback vertically by hand requires a very high level of skill. Considering the process and techniques involved, I truly believe the LW09 is no ordinary piece. I hope you’ll take a closer look and feel the dedication of the craftsmen who sew each one. Available in the same four colors as before — Ecru, Khaki, Field Blue, and Thunder Blue — in five sizes from S to XXL, priced at ¥29,700 (tax included). Perhaps my “three-part” news series has been a bit heavy on explanation… or maybe just heavy on passion. But if it helps you feel even a little connection with LOOPWHEELER, I’d be delighted. I look forward to continuing this journey together for many years to come. @Satoshi Suzuki
