A test print of the LUFT TOKYO crew uniform has been completed. We asked Yoichiro Uchida, well known to LW fans, to handle the graphic design. When this project first began last year, we at LOOPWHEELER were to be responsible for the LUFT crew uniforms and planned to sell a capsule collection based on that design. Before we knew it—perhaps gradually, perhaps as if drawn in by magic—we became deeply involved, and the reality is that we are now participating in the management as part of the executive committee.
The initial design was quite different. Due to various circumstances, including time constraints, we decided to ask Yoichiro Uchida to take on the project. I will speak about the reasons for that at another time. As for the crew uniform, it is an evolution version of the LW79 Track Jacket, which we call the LW79E2. The width has been made slightly larger. Once the product sample is completed, I will share further information.
This is the print design for the crew T-shirt. It is a single-color version of the main graphic used this time.
On the back of the T-shirt, LOOPWHEELER appears for the first time in some time. Based on this design, we plan to sell a capsule collection starting Saturday, March 14, at LOOPWHEELER Sendagaya, Osaka, and Fukuoka. I will share details of that design at a later date. General admission tickets for LUFT TOKYO are now on sale, so not only for those interested in air-cooled Porsches, but even simply walking along the Tokyo Expressway KK Line and viewing the scenery from there would be a very worthwhile experience. If you have the opportunity, we hope you will come for a walk along the KK Line. @Satoshi Suzuki
