Based on vintage sweatshirts, we’ve been updating and crafting this twin-layered dolman sleeve sweatshirt since LOOPWHEELER’s early days, and we’ve now responded to requests to make a single-layer version. Plus, it’s crafted from 100-Year Brushed TSURIAMI loopback fabric—making this a “double jackpot” of a sweatshirt! Both the front and back are made from a single layer, with a unique one-seam construction that runs from the sleeve to the side hem. I imagine that in the 1930s and ’40s, with fewer sewing machines and narrower fabrics, pattern makers and artisans developed this efficient design for production. Without armhole seams, it offers a unique comfort, though you won’t truly understand it until you try it on.

The fabric used is not LW Middle but LW Light 30/9 TSURIAMI loopback.

Available in Grey Melange and Navy, in sizes S to L.
