2026 Color

The color beakers (lab dip) for 2026 have just come back from the dyeing factory. At LOOPWHEELER, we ask the dyeing artisans to prepare three variations against our specified color: exactly as instructed, plus 30% stronger in density, and minus 30% lighter in density. Ideally, the exact instructed shade comes out best, but sometimes the artisan’s adjustments with UP or DOWN turn out to be even better—that’s what makes it interesting. Creating color is truly difficult.

In our case, sometimes we develop LOOPWHEELER’s own colors through dyeing, other times we dye the cotton first and then spin it into yarn, or we dye the yarn before knitting it into fabric. Broadly speaking, there are three different methods we use to create the colors we want to express each year. For 2026, we’re planning to present more subdued, refined tones that we hope you’ll enjoy wearing. Please look forward to it.
