Ura Cashmere TSURIAMI Loopback: New Color Charcoal Melange

Known informally as Ura Cashmere TSURIAMI loopback — knitted using 100% cotton for the outer and middle yarns, and 100% cashmere for the inner yarn. LOOPWHEELER's work with 100% cashmere yarn goes back to around 2003, when we still had our shop in Nakameguro. We have been developing Ura Cashmere TSURIAMI loopback since those early days, and I feel that all the various attempts and experiments along the way are what brought us to where we are now. There was a period when Ura Cashmere TSURIAMI loopback was on pause for some time, but last year, by using 100% cashmere yarn from FUKAKI WOOLLEN TEXTILE CO.,LTD. for the inner yarn, the compatibility with the cotton outer and middle yarns improved considerably and the quality took a real step forward. That is not only down to the yarn — the craftsmanship of the team at Kanekichi Industries has grown as well. We are continuing production this year, and have added a new color: Charcoal TOP, using a charcoal grey melange yarn. It is really something. The pattern is the LW354, the same as last year — the pattern LOOPWHEELER currently considers its best. Available in two colors — Charcoal Grey Melange and Grey Melange — in four sizes from S to XL. The price is 75,000 yen (tax excluded). The outer is 100% cotton, but the 100% cashmere inner yarn comes through subtly to the touch, giving it a soft, supple feel that is somewhere between cotton and cashmere — the kind of texture that makes you want to keep touching it. It looks like an ordinary 100% cotton sweatshirt, but whether you touch it from the outside or wear it, the experience is entirely its own — something you will not find anywhere else. And the fact that it can be washed at home is another point in its favor. Please use a detergent suitable for wool, such as Acron or Emaal, set your washing machine to its gentlest cycle, increase the water level, and wash with care. Laying flat to dry is best, but I personally hang mine on a hanger and leave it to dry indoors. If you purchased one last year and have been happy with it, I hope you will consider adding a Charcoal Melange to your collection this year. Thank you, as always. @Satoshi Suzuki
