100% Baby Cashmere TSURIAMI loopback LW354 New Sweatshirt

While the LW362 debuted this season as our first-ever piece using 100% Baby Cashmere TSURIAMI loopback, this LW354 New Sweatshirt pattern is already familiar—also produced in Basic Cashmere and Ura Cashmere versions. We apologize if it’s a little confusing! We talk more about it in our YouTube video, so please take a look.

Baby cashmere is finer and denser than regular cashmere, yet it’s even lighter, softer, and warmer to the touch. This yarn is spun in Japan by the exceptional spinners at Toyoboseki. It comes only from the very first combing of undercoat fibers on baby cashmere goats less than 12 months old. Although collection happens in July, most of these baby goats are under 6 months old—since birth seasons vary from December through April. In the YouTube video I mentioned some goats are born as early as October, but to clarify, most are born between December and April.

This piece comes in two colors: Baby Off-White and Baby Black. Sizes range from S to XL. Retail price is ¥340,000 (excluding tax). Both colors are great, but this year I personally recommend the Baby Off-White.

And with this, we’ve wrapped up the full preview of all LOOPWHEELER Pre-Order Event 2025 items. Thank you for sticking with us through this long journey. Now in its 14th year, our Pre-Order Event was originally created to showcase materials that don’t normally appear in our standard in-line collections. It takes one to two years to develop these textiles, and each piece is made only in the quantities ordered—nothing goes to store shelves. It’s a truly limited production process.

Through this kind of material R&D, our artisans also continue to grow, developing knitting techniques that once seemed impossible. This, in turn, helps us create genuinely innovative materials that carry the legacy of TSURIAMI into the future.

But above all, what brings us the most joy is seeing customers come in, try things on, discover something new, feel that excitement—and take their time enjoying the process of choosing what to order. We hope you’ll join us again this year. We’re looking forward to welcoming you.
