The so-called “Minamikata Special,” a 1st type trucker jacket made from our original Hickory TSURIAMI jersey fabric, is now complete. Orders will be ready for pickup starting Thursday, November 6th at Sendagaya, Friday, November 7th at Osaka, and Saturday, November 8th at Fukuoka. We invite everyone who placed an order to visit when convenient.

Customers could choose between printed and plain versions.

The pattern has been updated this year with a T-back construction.

Developed in 2022, the “Minamikata Special” is a true testament to the dedication of Kanekichi Industries’ president, Mr. Minamikata. Even among textile professionals, it’s unlikely that anyone could recognize this structure as a variation of TSURIAMI jersey—it’s that unique.

Available in sizes S–XL, priced at ¥58,000 (tax excluded). Both the plain and printed versions are the same price. We believe this fabric embodies the spirit of “Future Vintage” — a piece that, fifty years from now, will be seen as a true vintage.
