We first developed this wool TSURIAMI pile fabric last year, and I believe it simply wouldn’t have been possible without the wool yarn from Toyoboseki. The quality of this 100% wool yarn is outstanding. While we can’t see every yarn in the world, discovering new yarns is always essential. Of course, the raw material and where it’s from—including the producers—are important, but equally or even more important are the spinning and finishing technologies that follow. These are where craftsmanship and passion are embedded.
At LOOPWHEELER, we believe the people involved in every step of the process are our greatest asset. It’s their intention and care that bring the product to life.
That spirit came through last year, and we received a great number of orders. This year, we’ve responded to customer requests by knitting the wool TSURIAMI pile in Off White and Black. To be honest—they came out great. I find myself wanting both. You can take a closer look in our YouTube video.
We’re offering five items made from this fabric this year, starting with the zip jacket, which carries over from last year’s pattern.
Available in four sizes: S to XL.
Retail price is ¥88,000 (excluding tax). The jacket features our familiar 64 cloth pockets, with “LPWHR” printed above them. We hope you’ll enjoy this piece.
