We’re releasing three new items crafted from TSURIAMI loopback fabric made with American Sea Island Cotton. The fabric uses a 60/2 American Sea Island Cotton for both the face and middle yarns, and a 10-count untwisted “Phanon” yarn for the loops. After knitting, the material is dyed and steam-tumbler finished by Yutaka Senko for a smooth, luxurious texture. These items will launch in Sendagaya on Saturday, October 11, in Osaka on Sunday, October 12, and in Fukuoka on Monday, October 13.
First up is the LW354ASIC sweatshirt (“ASIC” stands for American Sea Island Cotton). Available in Navy and Black, sizes S–XL, priced at ¥38,500 (tax included).
Next, the LW366ASIC Pullover Hoodie, also in Navy and Black, sizes S–XL, priced at ¥44,000 (tax included).
And the third model, the LW367ASIC Zip Hoodie, available in the same two colors and sizes, priced at ¥49,500 (tax included). I’ve personally worn the samples during washing tests, and as expected from American Sea Island Cotton, the refined appearance, luxurious handfeel, and exceptional comfort make these pieces truly special.
We’ve been informed that yarn costs will increase with the next lot, so this will likely be the last release at this price point. Honestly, it’s difficult to find this level of quality at such a value elsewhere — if it resonates with you, we hope you’ll take the opportunity to own one.
