The April 2025 issue of Begin, releasing on Saturday, February 15, is one I’d love for you to check out. A special feature on sweatshirts starts on page 105 under the “ABC of Timeless Basics Vol.10” series.

This section explores everything from common knowledge to in-depth trivia about iconic sweatshirts, making it easy to learn through an ABC format.

One of the two major sweatshirts representing true authenticity is Champion, the brand everyone knows.

The other is LOOPWHEELER. The article highlights Champion, the pioneer of Reverse Weave, and LOOPWHEELER, which revived TSURIAMI Loopback. It’s an honor to be mentioned alongside Champion—thank you, Begin!

The release date of October 29, 2021, is still fresh in my memory.

This is the MADE IN USA LOOPWHEELER, a creation by Daisuke Obana of N.HOOLYWOOD. The fabric, LW Light 30/9 TSURIAMI Loopback, was sent to Champion’s U.S. factory, and a new Reverse Weave pattern was developed in Japan.

We also created a tricolor version of our Katakana logo, with “LOOP” in red, and “WHEELER” in white, all on a blue base—a first for us!

It was a special edition box set—perhaps now a collector item.
